Cable Service
We have had two cable companies working in our park. We were not happy with the way either was leaving exposed wires, etc. so we called both companies asking for a representative to come meet with Jim. Troy Cable, the local company sent someone up the next day. Charter, the big company, did not respond to two phone calls OR a visit to their Troy office. We then made the decision that Charter Communications will no longer be able to do business on our property. They have cable boxes hanging from poles and other unsightly equipment and cables. We sent them a letter notifying them of such, and have notified our tenants that if they currently have Charter they must change either to Troy Cable or to a satellite dish. Our office and our home were being serviced by Charter.
Although we did not enter this looking for a benefit to us, other than more cleanup of the park, we actually got a financial benefit from the change! Troy Cable gave us free internet and television cable for the park, including the home we are living in. They also gave us a great price for telelphone service. Total monthly savings? $150!
