A New Venture

We have purchased a friend's position in a partnership LLC in a park in Georgia. Life has certainly become even more exciting than it was before!

We have brought Arrow Woods Estates to the point where we feel comfortable having a manager there rather than us running the place on a day-to-day basis. We still have 29 more homes to bring in, but Jim will be spending a week a month there which will enable us to continue to buy homes. We have a fantastic manager. She lives in the community, so has a vested interest in keeping the standards high.

In the meantime, we have taken on a much larger park and project. We have well over 100 homes to bring in. The park has a stocked lake for resident fishing, a pool and a playground. I have also learned how to drive a golfcart in the last week - no prospective customers have been thrown off yet! It is a much prettier area than the park in Alabama and has real grocery stores and restaurants!

We are very excited about the new direction our investing career is taking. It does not take us as long to get to this park from home as it does to get to the park in Alabama, and is even less time between the two. We even have employees here that are used to the infrastructure and what needs to be done on a regular basis.
