Rehabbing ....
Most people who have been involved in this business for any length of time, have experienced what we call rehabbing a mobile home. For those of you who have not yet had the pleasure of this experience let me just say good luck ! Now don’t take that the wrong way, this can be one the most lucrative ways to create additional cash flow for your park, but it can also be one of the most frustrating and challenging. This one piece of the over all process of turning you’re park around holds more challenges than almost any other area. Your success in this area depends on your ability to do a number of things well, finding the right rehab person, without a doubt is the number one most important factor, the right person can either save you or cost you thousands upon thousands of dollars. Finding and buying homes to rehab, another sometimes very challenging part of the process, which includes the additional expenses of moving and setting up the home before the rehab can begin. Finding the most cost effective places to buy the many different kinds of supplies needed for the rehab, which range from skirting materials, vinyl siding, carpeting, and everything else you could possibly need to complete the job.For those of you who have not done a rehab project, you can see by the brief outline above this one area holds many challenges in keeping the expenses down, getting the job done right and bringing the project to completion.
