Three homes ...






… one day, last week we were able to sell three homes in one day, a rehabbed 2 bedroom single wide, a brand new 3/2 single wide and a rehabbed 4 bedroom double wide all in one day, talk about being on a roll, I wish we could have a day like that every week !!

Although we won’t have a day like that every week, it has truly amazed me the kind of comments we are receiving from people who would have never considered living in this park in years past. Most of the people who come into the park to inquire about housing have seen the park in it’s previous condition for years and cannot believe that it is the same place.
During this past year we have worked very hard to create a positive change and an atmosphere that people will enjoy living in.

The improved condition is one thing, but there is an even more powerful force at work here, one where people start to voice their satisfaction about the improvements and the changes taking place.

In my opinion the most important factor driving our home sales is the word of mouth advertising, don’t ever underestimate the power of this form of advertising. There are many ways word of mouth can be spread, residents will tell their co workers, family members and friends, neighbors in surrounding neighborhoods who have taken notice of the change will tell people they know, small business owners you deal with will pass the word along to people they know. The ways in which word of mouth advertising can be spread are endless, and the results will be beyond anything you would have imagined.

There’s something we need to keep in mind, many people live in a mobile home park due to the fact they need affordable housing and mobile homes fit their need. When we as entrepreneurs and owners make the effort to improve people’s living conditions by cleaning the park, putting rules in place and enforcing them, we also find ways to help them reasonably skirt their homes, power wash homes, and make repairs to their homes, we are improving their living conditions, in turn they feel proud of the place they live, not only their home but the park as well. Isn’t it just human nature to talk to friends and neighbor’s about the improvements and changes going on, and in turn they are spreading the word. All these things improve our residents quality of life, while at the same time improving the value of our investment and creates the kind of advertising money can’t buy, word of mouth.
