My Buddy Arthur !

Several weeks ago I heard a rumor that one of my not so favorite residents was going to invite a female friend of his to move in with him, problem was rumor had it she was a crack head and had previously been arrested for using crack. Oh and just to make sure he stayed on good terms with me, rumor also had it that he was going to wait until Friday evening after I left the park for the day to move her in.

Not being one to let things get out of control, after hearing the rumor I decided to pay my favorite resident a visit. During my visit with Arthur I let him know I had heard he was going to have a friend visit for what I termed a long term stay, I preceded to remind him that no one moved into the park without my prior approval, especially someone with a prior criminal record.
Arthur reassured me that no such thing would happen.

Two weeks went by without any problems from my buddy Arthur, but then I guess he thought that I had developed alzhimers, because low and behold there was his friend on the property moving things into his home. So I called the police to come remove her from the property, when they arrived they questioned Arthur and his girl friend, he admitted I had told him not to move her in, upon further questioning and calling her information in, the police found there was an outstanding warrant out for her arrest, so they cuffed her and took her away.

From my point of view, everything worked out well, I won’t have to worry about Arthur’s girlfriend coming back, she will be getting free room and board courtesy of the city jail for a while, and as for Arthur now that he broke park rules he gets a free pass to go live somewhere else. I am puzzled about one thing, I guess Arthur got his feelings hurt that I had his girl friend arrested, because he started moving his things out two days later, I didn’t even have to evict him. So you see everything worked out great after all, life is good. I guess that’s what happens when you stay on top of things.

Fred, Thank you. This one session alone is worth the time of reading your story.
