The Treasure Chest

For those of you who currently own a park as well as those of you that plan to own a park think about this, a mobile home park that is being closed down is like a treasure chest.

As a park owner I know first hand there are always projects and repairs that need to be done, it may be replacing a few older electrical pedestals, fencing, the mail boxes may be in disrepair, removing the anchors left behind when homes were removed from the park years ago or any number of things that need updating or repair.

Five or six months ago Greg Meade posted on the forum that he had bought over a hundred homes from a park that was closing in Florida, we bought fifteen of those homes and have done very well filling those homes, bringing new residents into our community and increasing our cash flow.

One day shortly after buying those homes I had a thought, with the park closing what will they do with some of the things that will be left behind after the homes are all moved out?

Stay tuned because in my next blog I will tell you what came to pass because of that thought and what was in that treasure chest.
